At Vibrant Family Chiropractic we use the Insight Discovery Subluxation Station as part of our assessment procedures to give you and your family the opportunity to more objectively understand how life is impacting your spine and nervous system.

This non-invasive technology was developed in the early 1990’s in the USA to document the state of neuro-spinal health of babies, kids and adults from the start of their chiropractic care, and through out their life.

The technology has undergone many evolutions over the past two decades, and the Insight Discovery is the latest version (see the science behind it here). It features age adjustable thermal (heat) scanning of the spine, an electromyograph (with pre amplification and digital analysis of signals) to assess your spinal muscle tone and the latest addition to the technology, the pulse wave profiler. This device allows your chiropractor a window into how you body is dealing with stress (your sympathetic/parasympathetic balance) via analysis of your heart rate variability.

The technology has received Space Foundation certification. This was due to the technologies use in the late 1990s with assessment of astronauts pre and post space flight. The Space Foundation is a non-governmental agency in the USA focused on promoting exploration and technologies used by NASA.

We use the Insight scan to get a picture of where your neuro-spinal health is now, and monitor it regularly as you progress through your care. Following a scan, we review the results and integrate it with our examination and your health goals at your report visit to map out the best path forward for you to regain or improve your health.
